We will try to keep you up to date on Harry Potter happenings each month. Today is May 1st (May Day) and we are all still waiting for the release of the 5th book in J.K. Rowling's wonderful series of the "Boy Wizard" Harry Potter. As we have said in the past we would not believe any rumors about such a release unless there were an actual statement from one of the publishers. We promise you as soon as we see one we will let you all know. Here is one such rumor reported by Ananova: ''They've predicted a mid-summer arrival for the latest instalment of the schoolboy wizard's adventures.'' Harry Potter received nine nominations from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films. The Fellowship Of The Ring got eight. Both films are nominated in the Best Fantasy Film category along with Monsters Inc, The Mummy Returns, Shrek and Spy Kids. Robbie Coltrane and Ian McKellen are both nominated in the Best Supporting Actor categories. John Williams' soundtrack to the film entered the annual list at number 81. Howard Shore's Lord Of The Rings soundtrack came in 50 places behind, despite picking up an Oscar for Best Film Score.
