Another Mishap at the Ministry of Magic. Today a Muggle got onto Platform 9 & 3/4. The Muggle took a train to Hogsmeade. Luckily a witch asked for his ticket and he had the wrong ticket. The witch went to the conductor of the train and reported this to him. The train got to Hogsmeade immediately. The conductor sent the Ministry an owl and the Ministery arrived a few hours later. The Muggle had his memory erased when the Ministry arrived. This does not look good for the Ministry. Letting a Muggle get through the gate, and the Cashe Kidnapping. Minister Fudge declined an interview. There was a protest in front of the Ministry of Magic building also because of the Muggle getting through the gate. After thirty minutes of a peaceful demonstration a drunken leprechaun hit a veela in the head with his pot of gold. A riot broke out causing the injuring of ten leprechauns, eleven veela, one gnome, five witches, nine wizards, one Ministry agent, twelve hags, three banshees, and thirty centaurs. Also one centaur died, two leprechauns, a wizard, two witches, four veela. There has been one arrest made, and that was of the leprechaun that started the riot. He is being charged with eighty-two counts of assault, and eight counts of murder. If convicted he will be spend two-hundered and ninety-seven years in Azkaban. |

Daily Prophet readers, yesterday a little girl was kidnapped by a group of Death Eaters. The Ministry of Magic says that the girls name is Alatta Cashe. As most of you know Alatta is the daughter of the head of the Department of Mysteries. Mr. Cashe recieved a letter from Lord Voldemort ( yes I know I just used his name). This is a copy of that letter: Mr. Cashe: The Dark Lord Voldemort The Ministry ( including Minister Fudge ) has been working since yesterday morning. If you have any information about this kidnapping, please E-Owl the Ministry. I went out today and asked the public what they think about the kidnapping, and here is what they thought: "This could all have been avoided if the Minister had taken Proffessor Dumbledore seriously when he told the Minister about You-Know-Who getting stonger after he killed Barney Crouch, Cedric Diggory, and almost killing Harry Potter. I hope the Minister gets replaced in the next election," said one women. "I am very sorry about the kidnapping. I hope the little girl is returned safely. I also think that Minister Fudge should be impeached, the stupid Muggle, and I hope he reads this too, the idiotic Muggle," one man said. I can account from all of the people that I talked to said that Minister Fudge should either be impeached or replaced. In an unrelated event the Minister's Approval Ratings have dropped. Here are the current standings: Approve: 1% Disapprove: 99%

For all of the wizards and witches who love writing poetry. The Daily Prophet is holding a poetry contest. The theme is ANIMALS USED IN THE HARRY POTTER SERIES. The rules of the contest are simple, and they are: 2. You're poem must be about an animal used in the Harry Potter Series (example's phoenix, niffler, hippogriff, rat, toad, dog. You are aloud to use the examples I have just given. If you think of another animal good for you). 3. You may only send in ONE poem. If you send in more than ONE you will be disqualified. 4. You are not aloud to copy anyone else's idea. 5. All poems must be sent in by December 31st (U.S. time). Any poems sent to me after this date will not be elageable for the contest. 6. You are NOT aloud to use any profanity or racial slurs. If you do use profanity or racial slurs you will be disqualified. If your poem is chosen it will be posted in the Daily Prophet and the Monthly Newsletter. By sending in your poem you are saying that it is alright to post your work in the Daily Prophet and the Monthly Newsletter. Good luck!! Cory Potter

For all of those Harry Potter fans who have been to timid to go see the movie because they are afraid that the movie was not faithful to the book, you have nothing to fear. The movie was superb, an adrenaline rush if you will. The acting was extrordinary. Daniel Radcliffe, the muggle who played the role of our hero Harry Potter, was excellent. Rupert Grint, the muggle who played Harry's best-friend Ron Weasley, looked exactly like Ron. Emma Watson, the muggle who played Hermione Granger, the muggle-witch who needs to get her priorities straightened out as Ron puts it , played an awsome role as the know-it-all that we all love. The movie was as faithful to the book as you possiblly get. There were few changes. If you are going to the movie as a critic you will not enjoy the movie as much as an F.O.B. ( friend of the book). So go to the movie to enjoy it, not to criticize it. |

For all Daily Prophet readers I have found out something that will be of interest to you. The cover of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is a fraud. If you read Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them you will notice that the picture of the phoenix on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix does not match the description of the phoenix in Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them. |
